took a break from the BBQ to try this little pond i heard about from a guy at the party. smacked this guy on a top water popper at sundown. he inhaled it! i think the chunk missing from his lip was from a snapper

renewed my Maine permit this weekend and headed up north for the holiday. I heard of a pond that was supposed produce consistant lunkers. I was not mislead!

woke up and drove out to Wilton to try and finish up the season. the wind was whipping in all directions across the pond. i got a few smacks on a wacky rig and just before i left i loaded up my motor oil jig with rage summer craw trailer and hammered a monster! best day i've had this year!

kimball hill pond in wilton off king brook rd. drove from concord to route 101W past milford. this pond produced a 2.5 pounder two weeks ago. this time on a peanut butter 3/4 oz baby boo jig with summer craw trailer i snagged a 1.5 oz LM after 30 minutes working around lilypads.

sorry, no boats allowed. please leave only your footprints.

headed back to the boat launch off second st. the water is extremely low and the current is fairly slow. i had such success last year around this time. got my first bass within 15 minutes from arriving. two more hookups but could not lip them! smallmouth fight hard in this river. you will need some sharp hooks and a heavy rod. i got a few bumps on the jig but hammered on the wacky rig.

about 200 paces from second st. in concord. it's Clear water pond (spring) with pick/bluegill/LM. Shallow banks around North/East section with lots of milf oil and grass. Lots of logs/trees on the eastern bank. Plenty of bank to fish. Jon boat/Canoe would be ideal.
