Tupper Lake Description

Tupper Lake is a village in Franklin County, New York. The population was 3,935 at the 2000 census. The village takes its name from a nearby lake, which, in turn, is the name of a surveyor (Ansel Norton Tupper) who tragically drowned there while fishing.
