This pond is pretty huge, with deep dropoffs, and plenty of shallows, we usually just wade in..We knew this was a good spot as soon as we got there, when a large bass jumped clean outta the water onto shore after a bird. Every cast your landing a bass, and I mean EVERY cast! Also, the typical size range from between 2- 4 pounds...I caught 4- 4 pound fish and plenty of 3's the first time I went...and every time after that. The first day, me and 2 buds pulled in at least 50 fish each, we were ther from about 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. UNBELIEVEABLE
We used live shiners, 3-4 inch, and any lure you can think of. They crush anything at this place...HUNGRY fish...
Kind of a tough place to get to. Theres maybe 4 houses on this pond, and It's located off of Bourne Rd., Plymouth MA. However, we had to cut across some guys property and a bog to get to it. REDICULOUSLY worth it.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
