The Chu 1st Trip Of The Year.
First trip of the year perfect day but fish didn't think the same.Very slow.Muskie had 3 bites me 0 big goose egg.Decided to hit old faithful on the way home.Caught 5 decent bass.Biggest just a little over 2lbs. At least I didn't get skunked for the day.Bass finally starting to bite a little stronger.
Muskie: Have faith my good friend!!! It can't rain everyday you go to the Res!! You will finally break the ICE and it will be worth your wait
I will try to exercise YOUR demons at the RES in the morning, maybe we need to do a Rain dance or something

Nothing was more frustrating then when I hooked up my friends pole and showed him how to fish for lakers and his very first time out he catches one lol. The smile on his face was great to see but still couldn't help but have hoped it was me not him ha ha.Maybe I need to take the chu down solo maybe then it will finally happen.

Always nice to get out on the Chu with Muskie even if I don't catch a fish the scenery and the laughs are worth the trip alone nice day brother!
