Summertime Crappie

I went fishing yesterday up from the Demopolis city landing on the Tombigbee River and fished the red clay ledges where the water depth went from 19' to 35'. The crappie were holding on the ledges in about 30 feet of water. I used the drop shot rig again with jigs and caught 17 crappie.

  • I do believe you are a crappie expert. I do not have great luck with them. Hopefully by reading your post I will get better.
