Somewhat Of A Dry Spell

For the past 3-4 weeks I've had quite the dry spell with fish lately, not just Largemouth. No Crappie, Perch, Pickerel, Stripers, Cod; anything. My girlfriend and I went fishing about 2 weeks ago at Jacobs and she caught her first Largemouth Bass ever, it was quite an accomplishment! I on the other hand didn't catch a thing haha. We hit up Gallows the next day and I managed to catch a nice Largemouth, that was roughly 3 pounds, but right when I went to lip him he shook once more and my hook popped out like nothing. Pretty saddening. We went to Pawtuckaway State Park in NH, for a short 4 day vaca; tent camping. It was really nice up there, I managed to snag two Largemouth on a Crawfish crankbait, but they were literally the size of my hand. Pretty tiny haha. My gf caught herself some rather large Pumpkinseeds and Bluegills, some of the biggest sunfish I'd ever seen. Then we went about a full week and a half with no fish at all. We went out quite often too. I finally managed to hook into 4 nice 1-2 bass today at my secret spot in Hanson, MA. After about 2 weeks completely fishless. Anyone else been really slow the past month or so? Or is it just me haha.
