Snapatuit And Marys Pond

spent about 5 hours today on snapatuit pond, gotta tell ya i was quite disapointed, it looked like bass heaven! deep water rocky, had some nice grassy areas calm water sunken branches, all kinds of cover, and not one single bite! in 5 hours, no bites! i know it was very hot, but there was plenty of deeeeep water accesible from the shore, and i threw everything at them! jigs swimbaits worms, spinners, and absolutely nothing! what am i doin wrong? any advice? so i hop over 2 marys pond not far from there, and after 3-4 casts i felt a monster hit my gigantic swimbait and io thought i had a beast and i lost it! PISSED! and after that i landed a couple small guys! but overall for the effort i put in today not pleased with the results! landed three or four of the ones i posted but nothin to write home about! keep casting guys!

  • That's not my report Frankie. I just commented on it. I didn't do didley today

  • Still better than working in this heat . Shawn I fished a place like that before. You pull into body of water that looks like fish should be stacked out of the water and nothing! Great report. I did return to that pond few years later on. Hot day and used a suspending jerk. Bait fished ultra slow and killed them.
