smoked striped bass Recipe for Striped Bass Hybrid
smoked striped bass
30 minutes or until flakey
water,salt,pepper,creole seasoning,lemon pepper,worstershire sauce to make a brine season to personal taste
take filets cut red line out.IN a pan or casarole dish add water and seasoning to taste then add filets cover put in icebox over nite. Next day take out 30 to 45 minutes before putting on smoker or bar-b-que pit and place filets on towel. water will drain out and seasoning will stay in filets.place foil over grill and place small holes in foil for remaining water to drain away from filets.have wood ready to put on coals or chip pan.i like pecan but use wood you like for flaver.slice lemons,onions,parsley and dill last two seasonings if you like.place filets on foil put lemons onions and whatever else you perfer. add wood for plenty smoke cook and enjoy. great with grilled veg. a glass of white wine or red if you perfer.a good glass of iced tea works well also.Hope you enjoy if you never had striped bass this way.
