OK.... so.. there is this retention pond behind my house.... been here for 6 years and never gave it a thought.. its really small..its fenced in and no trespassing signs posted. Well, last week I was looking out my window and saw something chasing a school of fish... I could tell it was big... so I decided at some point very soon I would sneak in there... well this AM I did.. results... ten bass up to about 5 pounds... I didn't have scale but is was a big fish... fat and full of eggs.... I was shocked I caught so many fish... they were all very healthy. Most hit on swimbait- but I got a few on rapala..... cracks me up... I hit all these lakes all over the place and have an outstanding day in the pond in my back yard... pisses me off I lost the last 6 years of fishing in there... hope I don't get booted out one day. but I will be back....
