Midwestern Fisherman's Log # 4: Yesterday at my spot near Black River was a dream. I've never caught more than one or two Rock Bass "keepers" since I've been here. Yesterday I caught nearly 15 keepers at my spot near Fort Drum. All have filleted very nicely as the fish are adding up in the freezer for my annual Memorial Day fish fry. Had to throw a few small mouth back again due to the rules and all. Don't want to anger the good Game Wardens who keep fishing a clean and honest endeavor. My hats off to the Game Warden corps!
