we started out bright and early at 11:00am using the kyacks so I realy dident expect much with the sun beeming down on us. and I have never got much out of a river. but this time as luck would hav it. and it was pure luck aftter throwing some senkos without as much as a nibble i decided to throw a spinner on and see what happens after a few casts I therw it on top od a weed bed by accedent instead of in front of it. $h!* now I hav to pull a trebble hook threw this mess. When BANG the rod goes down. I set the hook and the fish went right back down in the weeds. not wanting to rip it out of his mouth i was slowly trying to bring the fish to me. but I was in the kyack so the fish was bringing me to him by the time i got to him he prob. had 10 lbs of weeds wraped around him. I couldent tell if it was a bass ,pic, or pike. after removing the weeds hoping it wasent a pissed off pike waiting to take a chunk out of me. I found a nice bass with the hook just about pulled threw. I instantly grabed him by the mouth and pulled him in. This made my day.
