Neponset River Nada, 3/30/13

Spent 7 hours paddling the Neponset River for the first time. Put in at Signal Hill and drifted downstream; went about 1/4 mile beyond Route 95 crossover. Water was high and there was a pretty good current. Tons of brush, deadfall and "bassy" looking habitat but there are few places to get out of the current. Slow fishing was out of the question, spinnerbaits and crankbaits were unproductive, so I mostly just enjoyed paddling new water on a sunny day. Will revisit this location once the weather warms and the water drops.
