Little pond Fishing Report
Little Pond
Fished little pond today in hopes of catching my first salmon!
No luck with the salmon.
I hit the same point that I caught the brown at last week.
Got a small bass on the wind blown point using mummichogs.
Packed up drove to the back side of the pond. Hit a point with a decent drop off. Got another small bass on shiners.
Sun starts to go down trout come out to play. They were rising out of casting distance. I hooked up some power bait caught a nice rainbow! Bunch of swirls here.
Got some good hits on the shiners!
Sun goes down! Had to give one last shot for a salmon or a big brown. Put on my rapala xrap pearl jerkbait. Hit the canoe launch. Saw a trout rising. Gave it a half hour and ended the night with a fat brown. Nothing big but I had a blast

I've heard and seen some monsters in there. I'm heading there next week in my kayak -
That's exactly the spot you want to be you may want to try running a huddleston down around and over that hump, there's 10+ lbers in there never know when you might cross paths with a hungry one looking for an easy meal

I plan on it! There a nice hump goes from 40' to 20'. Couple of nice drop offs!
I got an agua guy underwater camera so I'm gona try it out -
Slaughter Bass on the Drop Shot there, can probably catch 100 in a day that"s not an exaggeration either.

Nice, at least you got a few fish! That's a tough pond.
