"Get Hooked on New York"

Lightning in morning Details
Name:Lightning in morning
Created By:dowfisher
Details:It was early AM 5/8/10; rain, thunder and lightning. Weather calmed by about 7AM. I decided to go to Lake Cochituate and Power Bait fish for trout. I caught a fish after my first cast, only about a 15 minute wait. It was great for me since it turned out to be a Tiger Trout, my first. I noticed action on the surface and cast a dry fly. I got a couple of bites, but saw a flash of lightning and had to leave. Great short trip though, I caught a new type of trout. I think tiger trout are a brown and brook cross.
