Lake Ripple 6/20
Day off, went fishing with the Bride for the morning. Construction at the ramp for the A-1 site kept us off that body of water, so a change of venue brought us to Ripple. Construction there prevented us from access to more than 1/2 the lake, as 3/4 of a mile of baffle dam was being position to prevent erosion problems. Kinda late as the high school construction was already well under way. Scored 3 Lms and 3 pics, all on a Yum frog rigged w/ a Gami 6/0 hook. Bites were slow, fish seemed upset with all the activity? All fish came out from shore in channel.
I have no idea, they were working out on the dam that morning. and seemed to be set up for the long term. I can only hope they dig out and improve the ramp with a pad. Oh what am I thinking this is massachusetts, why improve any boat access!

Any idea what the deal is with the A1 site? It's a real shame that the ramp has been taken over and I see no signs that it will be available for use anytime soon.
It's very convenient for me. Doesn't seem real fair.
