Lake Nippenicket

Ruff water early Thursday morning I figured I give it a shot anyway. Got my first hit just off the right of the ramp which indicated that they were feeding. 1st one was only a one pounder but a plus still. Fighting the wind and waves in a canoe was a struggle in itself and I continued to the opposite side of the lake then headed North. Fished the East side of the Island with no results then proceeded back along the east shore to get out of the full force of the strong wind. After running up on a large rock just below the surface and almost going for a swim I cast my Black Spinner Bait about 30 feet from shore and WHAM, Larry turned out to be 4lbs 0oz. Made the whole trip worth the struggle.

  • I have been having the same problems win the drop down windows. Nice work and fish.
