Lake Monomonac

BVBA Tourny I tend to suck wind as I enter a competition. Fishing docks and weed edges I was only able to lure 1 LM to bite, a 2lb er that took a 4 inch texas rigged senko, from under a sailboat. My partner came up with 3 Lms, a 2 3/4, a 2 1/4, and a 1 1/2 lber, with the 2 bigger fish coming from weed edges and the smaller one from a dock. The winning pattern was casting up wind of docks and letting a senko drift under any boats or structures weightless and wait for the slow bite to happen. This yeilded a 5 fish bag with 2 5 lbers for my buddy Ed. High point of my day was the 8 pickeral I caught, 5 of which came from 12 ft of water, droppshotting various 3 inch baits. All pickeral were in the 17-22" range. Hey how about a pickeral tourny!
