Wrights pond Fishing Report
Ice Fishing With Volume
Hit Wrights pond with Volume/Ted on Thursday. Fished from 7 am to 2 pm. Volume caught a bass and about 7 Pickerel. I managed 1 pickerel. Could it be his 5 traps against my 1 ? Or is he just that good ? ha, a little of both I think.
Went home around 11 and grabbed my dog. He is 6 months and never been on ice before. He loves the cold, loves the snow and he LOVED the ice. He got a dropped shiner and ate it up. He grabbed a Pickerel and took off, there was no way we could stop him or catch him. He ran around with it like a trophy. When we finally got it from him, we put it in the hole and it swam off no problem.
Good day and good entertainment watching the dog run for flag ups. Need to teach him to set the hook.
