Details: 1st Tourny of 2012 season started out a little chilly with air temps at 38 and the water at 52, making for cold feet at a very shallow launch. I arrived with 4wd working this trip! Many fish caught by all members, with everyone reporting to have caught 20-30 bass though most were under 12 inches. only one angler did not weigh in a limit. Lm and sm all ran on the small side/lunker sm of 2.15 and Lm at 2.8. Bobby and I did ok with Bob in 3rd and I came in 4th. Techniques that worked for us were my scaled down carolina rig with 1/4 oz mojo weight and a 4 inch herring colored senko. Bob scored mostly with a wacky senko and the other bait that worked for me was a 6inch lizard.
Great outing with all my bass buddies and the weather though cool, was perfect as the wind stayed down to 5-10mph most of the day and the bass though small kept us busy.
