February Bassin- Quantity Over Quality
Got out on a nice day for February... Day before was 62 degrees.... today was 55. Water temp was a surprising 45 to 48 degrees..... Found fish in 4 to 5 foot of water close to shallow shoreline.... Caught all fish on black jigs. The bite was incredibly "soft" ... you really had to pay close attention or you would miss the bite... it was very very light...as soon as I felt the slight tap... I set the hook... caught 4 bass up to 31/2 lbs - all fish were over 2lbs - Great day for this time of year...check out my photo section for pics of fish.. for some reason they never load to the "trip" site....
