Fall Weather Fishing.....
Hit the waters again this week.... twice -- Hit some very nice size bass and a couple MONSTER pickerel (see photos in my photo section.... water was in low 50's... this is the time of year the bass start to feed heavily as they follow the schools of baitfish.. Since most of the vegetation is gone for the baitfish ( especially shad) the bait schools up and the bass are after them.... caught most of the bass on shad colored crankbaits and black jigs off of points and off the bank in deeper water.... Nailed two monster pickerel in the 3 to 4 pound class... caught one on a crankbait and the other on a swimbait....get out there and fish folks.... the bite is on!
