Fall Big Bass Bonanza Details
Name:Fall Big Bass Bonanza
Created By:volume4130
Details:First official trip of the fall and it went pretty well. Got on the water at 6:45am. It started dumping rain about a half hour later, then cleared up for awhile. Rain was off an on the entire time after that. In the first 4 hours, I caught 4 dink bass and 1 perch. 10:30 I started casting my spinnerbait towards the pads, BAM. 3lb 6oz Nice! I almost left because I wasn't catching anything, glad I stayed! 15 minutes later BAM again, 4lbs 8oz. Sweet! 15 minutes I switched over to the senko, cast out and was reeling it back in when something swirled around it, I stopped reeling and let it sit for a second, then BAM again. 3lb 13 oz. ! It was weird, like flip the switch and the bite was on! I've never had a trip with that many hogs back to back like that, or one with that many 3+'s, so I was pumped! All the bass were in about 1-2' of water on the edge of some pads and grass.
