Egg Harbor City Dec.15 2012
JJ and I decided to go about 1100, drove down the white horse pike ( rt.30 ) into egg harbor city. Made a left onto philadelphia ave ( rt.563 ) and drove 4 miles to the lake. About 35 -40 miles from home. There are 2 lakes separated by rt. 563, we chose the left side and fished for 30 minutes. Not 1 bite or swirl to indicate any fish n that area. We walked down the road about 500 feet, saw a little cabin on the shoreline. As we walked up tothe front of the cabin, we startled a few fish, so we knew we found their hiding spots. No bites for 10 minutes or so, then i saw 1 tracking my lure and i hooked him. What a BEAST! I described all the details in the pics i took, so i won't repeat all that here. We are going back again and fish the same spots and the otherside of the lake, if no luck , we can cross the road and fish the other lake. Nice area, lots of shoreline to fish from - not to many people are here ( except for hunters ) after the summer, so the fish are just waiting to be caught.
