Details:Amazing wild stretch of water close to Harrisburg, PA. It is located just North of the town of Dauphin right off US 322 West o Harrisburg. The stream is the water that flows out of the Dehart dam, which is the city of Harrisburgs water supply. The stream is accessable via route 225. Much is private, but the state gamelands parking areas grant access and it is possible at points to park along the road and hike in-heavily wooded. Large population of wild brown trout and many wild brook up to 1 pounds. I was quite surprised as to fish number, size and qualiy, with virtually no fishing pressure. Fly fishing only area above, great dry fly summer-supurb early season bait fishing below.
Left with 4 fish (fryers). This is my son's favorite spot! TRULY UNDERRATED!

Great info, I will give it a try soon. Plan on Geocaching in that area , so will kill two birds with one stone.
