Charles River Dedham 6-24-2012

So, after a crappy (not crappie) morning at Canton Res I regrouped and decided to make another foray to the Charles in Dedham. This time I launched at a new location, behind the Dedham Recreation facilites on Route 135 behind the ball field. Almost immediately I was into a nice 3lb bass. Sadly, this was the only fish of the day. But I did enjoy a nice paddle down to Bridge Street and back. And there certainly was LOTS of structure that must have contained fish (if only I were skilled enough to tempt them).

Comments

  • If you want the big boys sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind use a cheap bait like a rubber worm won't hurt as much if you lose it and if hooked weedless you can get into some of that cover with no worries!
