Canton Res. Sunday

Had a late start got out at around 9:30, took the 126 trophy kayak out to canton res. fishing was slow a lot of small fish in the shallows. In some spots when your lure hit the water the surface would ripple form the small fish being disturbed. Only landed two fish, nothing in close both fish caught under the lilli pads farthest out in the lake. One fish was 2 lb. 2 oz. the other was 2 lb. 9 oz..

  • Two nice looking Larry's you got there man!

  • Hey Roy, I was at Canton Res too but I was in the water around 7:00 and was leaving just about the time you were arriving. I then went over the the Charles River in Dedham.

At least you caught bass. I only caught two perch, one of them was smaller than the Rapala minnow it hit.

There were a lot of guys on the water too. IDK, I think Canton Res isn't going to make my top ten list. If I'm going to spend time on the water it should be nice water. Canton Res is kinda "seedy". Too much trash, too many houses, and a golf course. If I'm not gonna catch any fish I should at least enjoy the paddle.
