Fishing for bass,caught a big size pickerel grabbed it it shook its head that's when the hook stuck in my finger cut the line tried to snip the hook off the lure my old multi tool broke. Had to paddle with one hand to some good dudes fishing asked them to snip the lure off hook.they got it off. Whent to ER doc numbed the finger sniped off the two hooks that weren't in my finger then pulled the other hook through.doing ok now.

I ALWAYS use lip grips and pliers with pickerel for this very reason. They are slippery, they thrash a lot, and they already have nasty teeth. Sorry for your pain but thank you for posting a most interesting trip.
