Lake Boon Fishing Report

Boon

Hit an old favorite today with hopes to catch myself a 5 fish limit. I had 3 right away by throwing a topwater into openings in lilly pads. I wanted to fish the docks but that part of Boon was way too choppy and windy. So I went back and tried a cove in the back with lots of lillys. Caught my 4th fish on a powerworm and caught a BULLFROG on a snagproof frog.HA!
He wasn't even hooked he just wouldn't let it out of his mouth. I pulled him in the boat and got a good laugh and a picture. Caught my last fish on a spinnerbait completing my 5 fish limit. It was a good trip out!
