Various ponds in the greater Boston area Fishing Report

I've been out a good amount so far this year and figured I'd just post some highlights instead of posting a bunch of different trips. I caught these fish on both the usual spring slayers - jerkbaits, spinnerbaits - and more summer style tactics - pitching into cover with a texas rig.
On one trip, I caught a 3 then a 2 on consecutive pitches into a laydown.
The big highlight for me was the 6.35 lb. hog I pulled out of a submerged bush on 4-17. Too bad I was solo for that trip so I didn't get any really good pictures. I was catching fish every third pitch on this trip. A lot of bass, some pickerel. It was on that day even with the 20 mph wind and rain storm I sat through. I also had a big pickerel rip the skirt off my spinnerbait. Never give up!!
