Another great trip. we had a few people back out but as always we had a great time. The 1st night it was windy and just stopped raining. My buddy and i cruised to the Northern end to see what we could find out of the wind. We found a quiet cove that is sometime not accessible unless the water level is high enough. So i started throwing my Boag Hog Jig and got slammed on a nice lone piece of wood. We had a decent night to start the weekend. The next day was real windy as well. I threw a jerk-bait most of the time.Scoring a smallies with a pike in the mix. I realized most of the fish were scattered and in a staging position so i had the best results throwing a boag hog tube jig/bhb jig and jerkbait in 5-8' water. My buddies like to throw senkos and found some nice fish as well on isolated cover. I didn't add all the photos but we averaged 20+ fish a day. I can't wait to go back. I hope to try a different lake next time.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
