A Quick Stop At The Sud
Decided last minute to hit the Sud for about an hour or two on Friday after worrk. After some serious arm twisting, I got Badlarry to join...just an FYI, it didn't take much twisting.
We hit our normal spots. First catch was a solid 3lber for Badlarry. I hit the next 2 lmb in the 1-2 lb range. Badlarry scored a fiesty smallie that thought he was a lot bigger than he was. Then Badlarry scored the prize of the trip, a 4+lber...no scale so wouldn't be surprised if it was closer to 5lbs.
The last part of the trip we hit the rocks and each hit a couple of dinks.
Either way, not bad for a last minute get together.

Yup after those cool mornings they had been working their charm 2 5's separated by only one outing not a bad stretch but muggy sun drenched day made the skunk rear its ugly head got one strike and thats it the other night may go out after the rain n cold front maybe bring em back out just counting the days til cool air moves in and the big ones come with it!

Sad thing is, I have a scale in my car, I just never bring it in my small pack when we hit the Sud. But after hitting so many of those 3,4,5's there, we have a good eye for it.

We were sitting on the causeway & he saw the 3lber swim right under the tressle(sp?). He dropped in and pulled it out. Pretty much fell on top of that one, but the prize of the trip put up an awesome fight. Great job again Badlarry, that was a hog!
