went to a pond behind a cranberry bog near Island Terrace nursing home in Lakeville,MA. caught 3 crappie, and 1 largemouth bass. caught crappie#1 on a 3/8 oz chartreuse spinnerbait w/ tandem chartreuse willows, crappie#2 was on an excalibur lipless crankbait in chrome silver, crappie#3 was on a heddon "crazy crawler" black bullfrog color( i think). caught the largemouth on a strike king rage tail crawfish in dirty craw color
chartreuse 3/8 oz spinnerbait/w tandem chartreuse willowleaf blades. a chrome silver excalibur lipless crankbait. a heddon black bullfrog "crazy crawler". and strike king rage tail crawfish in dirty craw color.
the pond is located behind the cranberry bog on the left side of island terrace nursing home. the pond is only accessible with either a canoe, kayak, or johnboat. I don't think you could launch a bass boat in there.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
